I think language is very significant in how it can represent country, expression of culture, and is more than it’s typical definition. In this project, I wanted to show myself in letterforms. I used the term diaspora as my main concept, which means people who left their home country to foreign countries around the world. The transformation was definitely not easy. These two languages are significant in my cultural identity so I wanted to show them as a heroic figures and create tension between them.
